Stars
Silver was armed with two bullwhips coiled neatly at his side, but Jons reckoned that these whips were a far cry from anything that had ever touched a bull’s behind. They were made from some sort of chrome alloy, for starters. The handles had a slew of buttons that Silver played like a fiddle to control the whips’ length, thickness, and shape.
Silver was also armed with a pistol for short range battles, which (as Beirut had complained frequently and at great length) seemed to undercut the entire purpose of a pistol.
The Other MG WIP
“What do you mean “if” we get a dragon egg?
Asbastian heaved another sigh and flipped the cord to his strike book over his head. “For the two moons’ sake, Tallisha, didn’t you read the schoolery handbook at all? There is hardly ever a matching number of Tamers and eggs. Plus, if there are any leftovers from last year, they get to have a go, too.”
Tallisha brightened. “What happens if you don’t get chosen the second time?” She was hoping she could go back home eventually after all.
Abastian rubbed his nose. ” Then you’re named as a Keeper, I guess. You help the Tamers take care of their dragons.”
Tallisha didn’t like the sound of that at all.
